Advanced Interaction 1

I would like to further develop an idea that I have worked on in first year of uni. The story behind it is the one of Mad Queen of Hats.

Synopsis:

The story of Mad Queen of Hats is based on the world of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, without said character. She is the illegitimate love-child of the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. Due to the queen's unexpected pregnancy she abandons her daughter. In order to prevent the Mad Queens of Hats' decapitation, the Mad Hatter takes her in and promises to keep her existance a secret from the wonderland's inhabitants. She continues living in wonderland in disguise from the inhabitants.

The environment I would like to tell the story in, through interactive storytelling, would be the house, possible a house of cards, Mad Queen of Hats lives in.
This is the 3D fly-through I created in first year.

I would like the environment, the story will be told in, to be inside the house of cards. While walking along it's corridors, doors opening to tell parts of the story.

I tried a similar but less linear approach in second year for my Entertainment Design coursework in first semester. It is a demo of an interactive map that should (when finished) tell the story of Mad Queen of Hats through little animations activated by clicking, dragging & dropping icons that pop up upon hovering over the locations on the map.
