After arriving in Germany from my flight, I realised the QuickLaunch buttons across the top of my laptop weren't working. I thought, well, I don't even use them that much and touch buttons on laptops seem to be in and out of work all the time. I didn't bother fixing it and I was hoping it would go away after a few natural restarts. A day later it was still doing it, with some buttons being red, indicating their inactivity. Aside the play and pause buttons, i found the volume slide actually quite handy when watching something on full screen. So I googled the issue and found this forum entry about shutting down the laptop, disconnecting the adapter, removing the battery and holding the power button for 45secs. To my surprise, it actually worked. Thank you, whoever found that solution :)
