I have modelled the foot using two spheres with 8 axis divisions and 6 height divisions. By extruding the bottom part of the bigger sphere down- and inwards, matching the approximate circumference of the smaller sphere, I merged the two spheres building a "brigde" which will make up the leg.
I have modelled the body using a cylinder with 12 axis divisions and 1 height division. By extruding the upper faces upwards and adjusting the verteces as I was going along, I matched the mesh to both front and side view of my reference sketch.
I have modelled the arm by extruding a cylinder with 6 axis divisions.
