I have decided not to go with my Mad Queen of Hats idea after all. Instead I am going to tell the story and create the environment of my Cup in Blanketland, for which I am making a 3D character animation in Advanced Visualisation.
This idea is based on a previously developed story. I started developing this character and the background story in second year for 2D Character Animation.
Synopsis:
The world "Cup" (working name) lives in is a picnic blanket, including things that you would imagine having on an 1900s picnic. Cup has lived with his brother and sister cups and mother teapot all his life. He wants to wander off the home tray and explore Blanketland (working name). He runs into difficulties manoeuvring himself across the hills and mountains carrying the last remnants of his former home, the tea his mother has poured inside him. He meets other characters like the sugar pot and the milk jug and encounters the Hand Giant.
